Great show with unique premise
Saving Hope is an excellent show. The only reason it didn't succeed in the US is because NBC gave it absolutely NO marketing! Zilch, zip, nada, zero. In Canada, where CTV actually PROMOTED the show so that viewers knew it existed, it became the #1 summer drama! The entire cast is amazing. The 3 leads - Erica Durance, Michael Shanks, and Daniel Gillies - play off each other so well, and there is so much more history there that we need to learn, & that we get little glimpses of via flashbacks. Then you add the supporting cast of actors like Huse Madhavji, Salvatore Antonio, Kristopher Turner, & Wendy Crewson to flesh out a well-rounded, extremely talented crew. The show has some of just about everything - humor, drama, romance - all with a supernatural element thrown in, as Dr. Charlie (Shanks) lies in a coma with his spirit wandering the halls, observing everything going on around him. His fiancee Alex (Durance) is forced to deal with the trauma of Charlie's coma while trying to...
Great TV show!
I was so happy to find the remaining few episodes of Saving Hope on Amazon. I enjoyed watching this show when when it was broadcast in the US, and very disappointed when the Network dropped it. The show is a nice mix of medical drama, relationship drama, and a season long story about a comatose Dr. There is a paranormal aspect that adds emotion and laughs. I look forward to watching Season 2 online even if a US Network doesn't decide to include it on the schedule.
Saving Hope
Excellent series. Since the last two episodes weren't shown on American TV, I had to watch them here. Erica Durance delivers a great perfomance in each episode. The last episode gave us a great cliff-hanger which opens up a whole new set of possibilities for direction for the show. I hope somehow it is possible to view the next season in the USA!
